When Rest Feels Uncomfortable (That’s Normal)

When Rest Feels Uncomfortable (That’s Normal)

Let’s tell the truth:
Rest can feel awkward.

Why Stillness Can Feel Unsafe

When your nervous system has been living in overdrive, stillness feels suspicious.
Your body might fidget.
Your mind might panic.
Your inner critic might show up loud and uninvited.

This doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
It means you’re doing something new.

Letting Discomfort Pass Without Judgment

Today is about allowing discomfort without running from it.
About letting your system learn that slowing down doesn’t equal danger.

Rest is a practice.
And like all practices, it gets gentler with time.
